Out of all the covenants mentioned in the Bible, there are two that we must understand fully and completely – the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. Eighty percent of the teaching we hear today is based on the Old Covenant. As a result, the church is more law minded than grace and faith minded.

The Catholic Church of the Middle Ages used to sell indulgences. Today, Charismatic Preachers promise people all kinds of blessings if they give an offering of $15 or more to their ministries! They teach us all kinds of works in order to receive what Jesus has already freely provided for us through His death, burial, and resurrection. It is Old Covenant teaching or gospel of works. Religion is the system of belief that makes us work for that which is already ours through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This teaching series is vital for our spiritual growth. The more we understand the New Covenant, the more we walk in the light of our redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ.
